The whisper of a letter was written by two German Jewish botanists in exile to invite other Botanical Gardens' support for the initiation of a new garden in Istanbul in 1935 resonates in four languages through the sound installation.

By sharing this letter found on the first page of the first catalogue of Istanbul University Alfred Heilbronn Botanical Garden, the work invites everyone to remember the struggle and determination of pursuing practice in an exile land. While asking for seeds, roots and sprouts from other gardens around the world in German, French, English and Turkish languages the letter underlines the condition of the decade and the forced mobility. It invites thinking of the possibilities inherent to a seed and learning resilience from the plant world.
